Photosensitive fiber preform : germanium/rare earth element doped quartz substrate, permanently refractive index modulated by ultraviolet irradiation, used for engraving fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) .

Special fiber preform: By doping materials (fluorine/boron/photonic crystals) and structural design, it achieves special functions such as energy transmission, radiation resistance, and microstructure.
